I just found out that the request for the Sarawak work trip has been approved. I am feeling in between now..
Yay! - Because I get to travel & it's fully paid for..
Nay! - Because I'll be leaving lil Aleesya for the first time in 8 months +... =(
I know that it's WORK, but I can't stop thinking how I would survive without Aleesya (and hubby dear) for more than 48 hours.. Although it's just a 2-day trip, but still...
Hmmmm.... =(

Sayang, sayang, Umm~mah..
U know how babies show their love by touching? They simply love it when we cuddle them, ensuring them that they're safe and loved. Aleesya is no exception. She loves being cuddled; in fact I find her too clingy and touchy-touchy sometimes.. Again, it might be because while I was pregnant with her, I was behaving the same way towards hubby too! =p
I read from somewhere that touching is a way for you to bond with your baby. A good way to bond with your baby is through massages or even bath time. Mothers may have a special bond with their baby than the father. I make Hubby change Aleesya's diapers and massage her belly everytime when he's at it and bathe her during the weekends if he has the time to include him in the bonding experience.
Our Aleesya loves watching the TV, with the exception that I watch with her too. If I were to place her lying down on her mattress, I MUST be by her side. If she were to sit while watching the TV, I too MUST be sitting next to her. She'll even clutch my arms in case I slip away.. Or she'll simply climb on top of me and sit on my lap.. Yup, she's that clingy!
Owh.. U know how kids always put their forehead to our face when told to "Sayang" us? I've been teaching Aleesya to do that lately. She's a quick learner that one! Now, whenever I say "Sayang Mommie", she'll immediately move her forehead close to mine (sometimes banging her forehead too hard!) and even do a little rubbing action with her forehead for a few seconds.. That's how much she loves her Mommie! ... And when she's done with all that, she'll lift up her head slowly and plant a kiss on my lips... Umm~mah.. (Awww! isn't she sweet?)

Self Cooked Porridge
OK. Semalam I woke up quite early because that tiny tot wanted her milk. I can't possibly continue my sleep because I have to entertain the tiny tot, so I decided to place her in front of the telly to keep her occupied while I start cooking on her so delayed "I-promise-that-Mommie-will-cook-porridge-for-you" meal.. =p
It was my first attempt, so I planned to make it simple and eatable.. I boiled carrots, potatoes and rice and then blended them altogether. The result : a pinkish smoothie.. Nyum! I didn't add any salt or perasa tiruan (cukup rasa boley ke?), so the taste was kinda odd. But Aleesya ate it all and I was so happy as can be.. I feel so mushy-mushy all of the sudden! Of course, it's something that I did entirely by myself... (Haruslah bangga rela..=p)
Because of the whole self cooking enthusiasm, I somehow doubled her meals.. Kejap2, I would ask her, "Aleesya nak mamam?". I'm sure she'll be thinking what happened to my mommie? Suddenly so teruja nak feed me 100x a day.. ekekeke
I'm putting cooking porridge for Aleesya as my main task on the weekends after this! =) Still in excited mode... =)

Muslimah Swimwear
It's Friday! Yeay.. I can't wait for NEXT FRIDAY actually.. (ONE MORE WEEK!) because we're going on a weekend get-away! Woo-hoo.. It'll be somewhere close to the beach =) Although there's the amazing beach, we prefer to take Aleesya to the pool instead. Hubby can't wait to bring Aleesya for her 1st dip in the pool.. I'm certain that she'll love it because she have always loved bathtime.. and she'll even lunjur her legs up front and act as if she's floating.. No kidding!

I clearly remembered that my sister Fara once purchased it and that it fit her well and she looks so cute in it. Being the same size as her (that's what sisters are for aight?), I decided to just borrow the swimwear from her.. Nak beli mcm xsempat la pulak! I'm just hoping that I won't get my period then.. (spoil saje nnt)
Off to Kedai RM2 to get some swimming floats for Aleesya! =)
Since I started wearing the tudung, I've never been into a pool.. Seriously, that long kan? I'm soo eager to get my swimming skills back on track (duh, macamlah terror sgt!) And, yes... I definitely can't wear those skimpy sexy swimwears like these anymore ...

(haha, as if I EVER did), since I'm with the tudung and all.. So, I'll have to get something more modest to wear.. I googled mslimah swimwear and found these...

pergh... looks too good to get wet in!

hahah.. ala2 muslimah surfer gitu..

Jots of that Tiny Tot
Yesterday, Aleesya :
- terjun from the sofa and fell onto me (thank god!)
- called her daycare friends "ta-tak" (it means kakak)
- called "aa-vah" aloud (it means Ayah) and made hubby's day! Hubby jumped from his seat and hugged Aleesya upon hearing that! =)
- only wants to sleep on my shoulder (manja sgt!)
- was in the mood to play tickle-me-crazy!
- made a "clueless face" exactly like Ayah would also do.. (funny, look-a-like!)
- spat out her saliva and then swallows it back.. (ewwww)
- tried to stand with support & was so happy doing so
- wants to be cuddled when sleeping (super manja, i love it!)
- mengigau twice, most probably because she played too much
- was too sleepy, and only cried at 4.30am for her night feeding
This Morning, Aleesya :
- woke up early and watched cartoon
- smelt soo "bushuk-bushuk-masham" (wangi to me)
- made a SAD face when we arrived at the daycare (my eyes were ALL watery when I left her!)
I MISS HER ALREADY!

Walkie Talkie
The other week, Hubby & I decided to put Aleesya in the walker again since she is able to sit properly now. We trained her to sit in the walker every night while we have dinner (we also kept an eye on her). At first, all she did was move sideways or backwards and she sometimes turned around. It was really amusing to watch her.
Just a few days ago, we were having dinner when Aleesya started to move forward. One step at a time and she was making all these noises. She was smiling and laughing at the same time! She continued moving a few more steps to the front. I was soo happy I couldn't continue eating.. =) I went to her and planted a big wet kiss on her! Mommie is so proud of u, baby! There u go again, practice makes perfect...
After dinner, Hubby then called on her from our Master bedroom which was way back. Aleesya quickly walked along the long corridor, mistakenly went into the wardrobe room (haha) and back out and reached for Ayah. It was a happy moment for both of us!
Another thing I've noticed is that, she talks/babbles a lot when she is in the walker. She'll go ta-ta-ta-ta-tta and move, then ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-tat again and move.. hahahah, it's so so cute!
Since she had master the walker, she'll grab at everything within her reach & sight. We had to move the table to one side, put aside the photo frames, books and magazines. Hubby & I are also looking for a safety gate to prevent her for entering the toilet. Till then, we'll just have to REALLY watch her...
